Huge Sterling Brooch - Contemporary

This beautiful brooch is massive - but quite lightweight. Measuring a whopping 4" wide x just under 3" high it weighs in at just 27.2 grams - about an ounce of evenly spread weight.

Unmarked, I believe this may have been made in Israel where they use the lost wax methodology for large pieces as this leaving them sturdy but primarily hollowed out inside.

This would be fabulous as a stand alone piece on an all black outfit...or even on a coat. Big, bold and beautiful is the perfect way to describe this piece. Not for the shy!

CONDITION: Excellent. Appears to have been little worn - if at all, having come to us from the personal estate of the Jewelry Boutique owner whose gold pieces we featured through the summer months.
