A pair of beautifully hand-forged sterling scallop shell dishes sit on 3 ball feet. Gorgeous on your dinner table, they will quite perfectly accommodate saccharin, after dinner mints or other small sweets. (Not recommended for salt as the silver would become pitted over time).

The shells are realistic and very nicely detailed measuring 2" x 2" and .50" deep. They stand .75" tall.

CONDITION: Excellent antique condition with no damage, warping or dints to note. Silversmith was J Collyer. Hallmarks for Sterling, Birmingham and the Collyer Maker's Mark J.C.Co Ltd. Very fine quality, these date to the early Edwardian period, circa 1909.
