Exquisite 6.5" Loetz Vase, Circa 1890 - 1910

An exceptional Loetz vase with iridescent black, teal, peacock, burnished copper and pewter exterior on a cobalt base are featured in this urn shaped piece. This represents so well an important design era when the sensuous Art Nouveau period was transitioning into the much bolder, dramatic - and timeless Art Deco era.

Generous in size, the vase stands 6.5" high and is 5.5" across the rim. The belly measures approximately 8" and the base is 4". This piece delivers a strong and bold statement.

Impossible to capture in the photographs, this is by far more refined than the pictures convey, and the coloration is magical.

CONDITION: Excellent, with no damage or losses to note. Dating to 1890-1910.
