1825 Blue & White "Goatherd" PLATTER Rare Chinoiserie

Dark blue to medium blue, flat bottom, platter measuring approx. 12-3/4" by 9-1/2". Flat rim, Chinoiserie border and well-frame designs. Center scene features a large, hairy goat, a man leading him holding a staff, 2 figures on an arched stone-bridge and water rushing down over a boulder. Mountains in the background and one humble cottage which appears to be built atop the bridge!

Condition is excellent. NO damage, NO repairs. Some pin-point dots in the glaze, pattern side. Perfect rim edge glaze with NO damage, no rubbing wear! Very heavy for a mid-size platter. Probably earthenware. Rubbing to the flat bottom edges and three, discolored tri-corner stilt marks on the backside rim.
