Excellent display condition. The interior might have been brushed in an attempt to hide where the two mould pieces were fitted together. These seams are obvious on the outside, but clean except one small area under the spout down toward the base. The interior seam line is discolored. One flake to the spout rim is the only pattern-side damage detected. Upside down, the foot base shows 4 old flakes and rubbing wear. Deeply recessed bottom with blue glaze pooling. DAVENPORT mark is blurred, but most likely in upper case letters...in a straight line. Good shiny glaze and the deepest, dark cobalt blue found only on flow blue previous to 1850.
