Size & Condition: 3.75" tall and 6" from handle to spout. Pedestal ring base with only slightly indented bottom. SPOUT has a surface flake chip under the bottom lip seen with handle to the left; a flea bite, with handle to the right. There is a separation line running from where the top of the handle was applied to the pot, downward for about 3.4". This line indicates just where the two pieces of the molds were placed together in the making. The bottom of the handle shows a separation line also where applied to the pot. The LID has an 'in the making' 1/8" firing crack on it's underside. It is possible that glue was added only to one side of the finial, this is a conjecture only as the knop's other side shows glue glaze pooling and is all original with no repair. Its ledge and rim and finial are excellent as is the pot's ledge on which it sits! Probably belonged to the sugar bowl, of its original nursery teaset, as the lid lacks a steam-hole. Good bluish-creamy-white ground with medium to powder blue transfers of fantasy serene English ruins and buildings with Elms and exotic botanicals. The opening flange and lid rim design is of beads, lacy tendrils, leaves and stippling.
