This turn of the century British etching is of one of York's four bars (gatehouses) in the shadows of the 12th Century Gothic Cathedral. Rich in detail, the artist is Featherstone Robson (1880-1936).

Signed in pencil, this print measures 5" x 10" - and is 12" x 17" in its current frame. It will need to be remounted and reframed as this frame picked up some moisture...however, the etching itself was spared from any damage. Also, please note the color variations in my photos are merely the presence or absence of the flash.
