Hand Cut Leaded Crystal Sugar and Creamer, c1900

We've all probably seen a million crystal creamer and sugar sets but there's something special about this one. Maybe it's the unique shape and oversized nature of them (especially for this time period) but there is a certain prettiness about them.

They are hand cut, polished, and etched. You can feel the heft of the leaded crystal when you pick them up (each a tad over 1 1/2 pounds!). The creamer is 5 inches high and a bit wider than 5 inches across with the handle. The sugar dish is 3 1/2 inches high and 6 inches wide with the double handles.

There is a teeny scratch in the etching by the creamer's handle which you have to be looking for to spot. Overall very high quality.
