SALE Ginormous German Pouring Pitcher or Stein

Beautiful enough to convert wine enthusiasts to serious beer drinkers, this large stein or pouring pitcher holds over 3 liters and stands 17 inches tall. It is in remarkable condition and pre-dates WWII (it is stamped "Germany" on the bottom). The pewter lid fits nicely.

The colors are dark green, brown, black, and cream; the scene, a musician courting a maiden in a garden. Along the bottom it reads "Morgen mub(?) ich fort von hier il nuik(?) Abschied nehuien." I tried to translate that, it's something about leaving or departing in the morning, in a hurry.
