SALE Rare Pickard Platinum and Gold Plate, 1905-1910

This 1905-1910 era Pickard artist seemed to paint to a different beat than the other artists that worked with pastels. Signed "O.P." for Otto Podlaha, this symmetrical design was created with platinum and gold paint.

The plate itself is from Haviland, Limoges, France and measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate has no chips, flakes, or cracks while the painted design has a bit of wear typical for its age (lines and little scratches in the paint).
