Georgian Black Cameo Gold Ring

I do not know what kt of gold this is but it is gold non the less. On the inside of the ring you can see where the top is attached. There are designs around the band and up the sides. The cameo is a white carved lady on black back which is called a hardstone sardonyx. It measures 3/8" inch oval. The ring is a size 8. This ring is in great shape considering it's age. The only thing I see is that the band has a very small bend. A jeweler can fix it no problem. It can still be worn just like it is as it is so tiny. I thought this was Edwardian but was told it is is Georgian.
