This is a wonderful old shabby chic style vintage cake carrier tin with metal handle. This tin measures 11" across the top and 12-1/4" across the base. The height is 6" excluding the handle.

This piece is not signed or dated but apparently dates back to the early 1950s -- and possibly earlier! Although it does show wear, it is in good condition for its age. There are the usual and expected scratches and a few dents from normal use but these, in my opinion, just add to its vintage charm!

There are three groups of what look like red irises pictured with long green leaves. The flowers are all in nice shape and the paint is in good condition without chipping or peeling.

This would certainly be a great addition to your cottage or shabby-style kitchen or dining area! Please be sure to ENLARGE my photos for an up close and personal look.
