Being offered for your consideration is Good Ol' Charlie Brown By Charles M. Schulz. A New Peanuts Book. Rinehart & Company Inc.1957. This is a clean, solid copy. Pages are age tanned but not brittle. No marks but some staining to otter edge of page ends. Book measures approximately 8" by 5".
From Good Grief: The Story of Charles M. Schulz, Rheta Grimsley Johnson, p. 68 "It would be impossible to narrow down three or two or even one direct influence on [Schulz's] personal drawing style. The uniqueness of Peanuts has set it apart for years... That one-of-kind quality permeates every aspect of the strip and very clearly extends to the drawing. It is purely his with no clear forerunners and no subsequent pretenders."
Book is un-paginated but has about 125 pages. There are 2 complete strips of 4 panels each, on each page. So, there are approximately 250 separate little stories! Just let the pictures be your guide and I feel sure you won't be disappointed.
