It is so elegant and feels wonderful to wear ~ the watch head is sterling silver with a Japanese quartz movement. It has a stainless steel back. One side of the band is longer than the other so the clasp can be closer to the inside of your wrist - it's easier to work the clasp this way, & you get a smooth unbroken pattern of chain maille on the part of your wrist that is most visible.

A LOT of sterling silver jump rings (not to mention time!) went into the making of this piece - chain maille weaves are made one ring at a time. The clasp is a nice slide-in type with a catch and safety hook. The length is about 7.5" with the clasp closed. I can change the length if requested.

It comes with a battery installed, and an extra is included.

The other watches I have sold have had round faces - this one features a beautiful rectangular face. The watch head carries a one-year warranty. My source for these watch heads no longer supplies them ~ when this one sells I can't say when I'll be able to make another one.

Chainmaille can easily be kept clean and shiny by pouring a little dab of ketchup in your palm and massaging it thru the links, then rinsing off with warm water. I do one side at a time, taking care to keep the watch face away from contact with water or ketchup.
