The antiqued bronze tone of Vintaj brass chain and doodads, a centerpiece of Greek Ceramic, and niobium accents make this a striking necklace. Normally this type of sheet weave lies flat and if you try to wear it as a necklace it just bunches up in strange ways. This antiqued sterling silver wire-wrapped pendant began life as a pair of earrings but they were just too heavy so I made them into pendants. The pendant is handmade with sterling silver accents and blue green turquoise nuggets, antiqued and hand polished. My neighbor at one of my fairs last summer was "Lala" of Lalaland Glass. She wanted jewelry and I wanted pendants so we did some trading, and I got this fantastic borosilicate glass pendant! This Ocean Jasper pendant stone has glorious fall colors - all sorts of brown, tan, and creamy tones scattered throughout, and I thought it would be fun to try wire wrapping it with antiqued Vintaj brass wire.
