Large World Globe with Wooden Base

A large world globe with wooden base from the 60's. It has Ghana which dates it after 1957, and has East Pakistan which changed names in 1970. The overall height of globe is about 23.5" and it is about 13" wide. The globe was made by Meredith Corporation. You can feel the mountain ranges because they are raised, which doesn't show in the photos. The round globe itself is in good condition with only very minor losses a couple of places, the most notable being right above the manufacturer's information. I also show in a photo where the brass part has been professionally repaired. The globe can come a part from the base which we would do for shipping. This is a very attractive globe which would look great on a desk or many other places.
