This is neat large ship in a case. It even has little men doing their duties all over the ship. Please look at all the detail shown in the photos to really appreciate the work that goes into one of these. The case measures 37" wide, 24" high and 14" deep. The front and sides are plexiglass which keeps it from being so heavy when it is moved. This would look great in a den or study of any boat lover.

This pheasant match striker is much larger than most other match strike of this era. Both the wand and the "striking region" and located on the trunk. We could find no markings on the spelter, only "Made In Austria" on the bottom of the wooden base. Overall dimensions are 12-3/5" long and 8-1/4" high. The MacFarlane, Lang & Company "Yule Log" Biscuit Tin of 1910 depicts three images around the wood relief tin "the felling of the trees"; "the home-bringing" and "the joyous Christmastide welcome". The tin is 7-inches tall with the its lid and has a 5-inch diameter.

This is a great old English tea tin that been professionally repainted. The original rd paint shows through in places to get it a great decorative look. At the time of listing I have another identical one. Either one or both would make a fabulous pair of designer lamps. If they don't sell soon, I will probably have them made into lamps. It measures just over 12" tall,8.25" wide and 8 1/8" deep. There are no holes or rust on the tin.

This is a very pretty porcelain Irish whiskey barrel with very colorful hand painted floral decoration. It has its brass spigot, but is missing its top. It is about 13" high and 15" deep with th spigot. This is an old one, probably 19th century and shows signs of usage as shown in photos. Please note the "spider" cracks as shown.

This is a fabulous art deco picture frame with Barbola flowers going up the side and mirrored accents. It has the easel back and also chain and hooks so it can be hung or stand alone. The overall frame is 10.75" wide and 10" high. The glass where the picture would be displayed is 8" wide and 10" high although smaller pictures would look fine inside the mirrored accents. The pictures accurately show the condition of the frame.

Here is a detailed description courtesy of a Ruby Lane shopper:This is a dress uniform of the Grenadier Guards and it is a Private's uniform. These were not owned by the individual soldier, being much too expensive, but were issued out by the unit. They might even have been made for the soldier and then passed to another. This is an early Thompson lamp as evidenced by the cloth wiring and celluloid socket, which I purposely didn't rewire to show its age. If you are Thompson followers, which you must be if you have read this far, you know that his workshop is still in operation, even though he is no longer with us. His signature mouse is what makes this lamp unique from other lamps of this period. Here is a chance to own a piece of history. It is 14" tall without harp.

A darling little side table with a bow front and long, graceful cabriole legs with carving on the knees. The burl walnut is gorgeous. It has a drawer which is great for storage. The table stands 29.5" high, 31" wide and 15.5" deep. It dates about 1930.

This is a neat little commemorative item from Queen Victoria's Jubilee celebration. The copper tea pot is 6" high and 6" wide. On the underside of each part of handle the word Jubilee is impressed. The head of Queen Victoria is on the knob of the top. The photos accurately show the condition.
$100 USD SaleSALE Small Copper-toned Metal And Beveled Mirror Photo Frame

This small copper-toned metal photo frame has a strong Art Nouveau influence. There is some silver showing through in a couple of places, so that is reasoning for calling it copper-toned. It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but there is a thin edge of gold silvering where the glass is beveled, giving it that added touch of elegance. Overall measurements are 4" wide and 5 3/8" tall. The photo area is approximately 2 3/8" by 4".

Triang, the famous maker of English doll houses did this cute store display piece. The green and cream colors are so "in" right now. Not sure if "KAY'S Stores" used this for counter display or if that was just the way Triang produced it. It is just a cute piece. It is 32.5" tall,22.5" wide and 9" deep. Unfortunately at some point in its life it lost a drawer.

This is a beautiful maple cigar box The darker contrasting trim around the top and the handle just add that touch of distinction. The metal presentation plate is blank so that it could be engraved for a gift. It measures 9 3/8" wide, just under 7.5" deep and 4.75" high. The bottom is covered in green felt. The partition inside seems to be glued, I didn't want to force it. As you can see from the photos, it is in great shape.

This is my favorite Victory V tin, it makes a wonderful lamp. We have been fortunate to have had this one several times in the past and it never stays around long. It measures 11" high and 6" wide at the base. This one is in pretty good shape with only minor paint loss as shown in the photos. Victory V made some beautiful tins, even though they don't command the high prices of Huntley Palmers.

This is a beautiful hand painted game board under glass. Since it is sealed on the back, not sure what material the actual board is. The over all dimensions are 23 3/8" square.The playing dimensions (checkered area) are 8" square with each square being one square inch. I estimate this to be around 1900, by the style. But I am listing as a collectible to be on safe side.

This is such a neat old leather gun case. Old leather just has that warm look. It is a great decorator item, especially for the man who likes to hunt. It has that great lodge look. From the shape, you can tell the rifle broke down into two pieces to fit the case. The photos show the old worn condition, but no rips or tears. Both straps are still in tact and it still fastens. The case is just under 31" long and 9" wide at its widest point, not counting the handle.

This is a nice German enamel flour holder that can either be hung or sit on the counter. It has a wooden top. The pictures show the missing enamel which is common for these pieces. The scenes on both sides are still in excellent shape, as is the "mehl". This is one of three enamel pieces that we are listing . This measures 10.25" H, 7" W, and 4.25" D. The three pieces make a wonderful grouping.

This is a great little hanging salt box. The main part of the container looks like it was turned from one piece of wood and then hollowed out. The matching top was also turned and the attached with small hinge. It measures just over 8" tall and about 3.5" deep. The container is about 4" tall. A large world globe with wooden base from the 60's. It has Ghana which dates it after 1957, and has East Pakistan which changed names in 1970. This is a nice heavy old Victorian cooking pot with the dove tail mold marks showing its age. It has the cast iron handle with the copper rivets. The pot has a diameter of 8.25" and is about 4" deep. A sweet little pair of open barley twist candle sticks with the fancy leaf design chrome tops. The open twist sticks are much harder to find and of course were more difficult to produce. They are 8" tall and the bases are about 4.5" in diameter. The small size makes them ideal to add to a grouping of larger pairs. The next to last photo shows a small chip along the edge that has been reglued. It is hardly noticeable, but wanted to be accurate in description.

This is one of three wooden measures which quite possibly were part of a set. This is the smallest one, with "DEMI LITRE" stenciled on the side. All three have the same triangle and "LEGER" and "POITIERS" with another word I can't read stamped into the bottom of each. It is 4" tall and about 3 5/8" in diameter. This is a classic style for a doctor walking-stick. The snake wrapped around this staff is indicative of it belonging to a medical practitioner. The cane itself is just over 36-inches tall and is hallmarked Birmingham 1902-1903. Unfortunately this is one of those items that the pictures just don't do it justice. The intricate carving of the snake wrapping itself around the cane is just wonderful. Thanks for looking and please see our other walking sticks.

A nice walnut chest on stand with contrasting band around the top. It stands on ball and claw feet and has carved shell knees. Note the pull out slide above the drawers. The top portion sits on the base for easier moving. The chest is 44" wide, 21" deep, and 37.5" high. It was polished in London before being shipped to us.

A very nice pair of Barbola Bookends. Unusual to find bookends in the Barbola style. These are in very good shape with only one little piece missing from the the top of pink flower and some age cracks which are present on nearly all Barbola pieces. The first picture has the truest colors. Each one is 5.25" H, 5" W, and 4" D.

This is a super old brass planter sitting on four feet. it has that wonderful pierced decoration around the side and the awesome ram's head handles.
