I really had alot of fun doing this one. A lot of soldering went into the frame work of this oxidized sterling silver necklace.The hat band is made of gorgeous faceted garnet rondelle gemstones. The ears of the rabbit are woven with hair thin sterling silver wire. The brim is made up of tiny sterling silver beads, meticulously wire wrapped.

The chain is decorated with faceted "crystal ball" rock crystal quartz stone and is amazingly beautiful! I added more faceted garnet on my own handmade sterling silver headpins to hang in tiny clusters.

The closure is a handmade shephards hook with a rock crystal quartz stone and more garnet gemstones for decoration.The entire piece is hand buffed for a nice shine.

This necklace is approximately 24 inches long (61 cm) This piece is truly one of a kind!

The last picture is of the back side of the necklace. There are no wires sticking out to snag on any clothing articles. I stand behind all of my wire wrapped pieces and make them as comfortable to wear as any other piece of jewelry.
