The cover is embossed cloth with gold angels and title with a black embossed farm scene. The book is in very good condition, especially for its age. The pages are clean and in very good condition with light browning from age. Only the inside cover and first page facing the cover are written on by a child. The rest of the book is fine. The pages are edged in gold which still has brightness in the light. There is a little looseness to the binding. The corners and the top and bottom of the binding show a little wear. The cover, both back and front are in fine shape. This is a excellent gift for a MOTHER of ANY AGE!! Please be sure to look at the attached photos. There is a similar looking book from the same era about The Blessed Virgin Mary. It is her life story. I was very fortunate to find these 2 RARE books! ENJOY!!
