This lovely 2" x 1 1/4" Retro style brooch in the shape of an elongated bow, has unfoiled amethyst cabochon navette shaped stones and is accented with clear rhinestones. The piece appears to be sterling with gold plating but is not marked. The Phyrgian cap, which Marcel Boucher used as his signature appears on the back of the brooch but is difficult to decipher. There is minor wear to the plating on the front which does not detract at all from the glory of this C. 1940's piece.
