Most jewelry by Jomaz, the company that Joseph Mazer formed when Mazer Brothers split up in the 1940's mimics fine jewelry of the period. This lovely 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" brooch in the shape of a leaf is no exception. The pierced construction and smooth goldtone back is similar to what you would find in early 1950's fine jewelry of the time. There is some millegrain detailing on the rib in the center of the leaf and the rhinestones are graduated sizes.

This lovely "Real Look" piece is a beautiful example of Jomaz., and is on the stem.
