Offering beautiful, fine quality vintage and vintage costume pieces concentrating on the 1920's-1960's.
This set is absolutely wonderful! I acquired all the pieces separately (SCS) - short for set completion syndrome, but find that I don't wear it much, so I've decided to part with it and hope the new owner will enjoy wearing it!
The design is very similar to a confirmed D&E (Juliana) set that I have in pale blue in this shop but I am not sure that D&E made this type of bracelet so do not want to attribute this parure to them.
The necklace, bracelet and earrings all are set in goldtone metal. There are large oval "pillow" shaped satin finish pink and frosted (givré) stones surrounded by rose bi-color navettes, hematite silver finished carved navettes, rose aurora coated chatons and clear rhinestones. The necklace is 15" plus the J-hook and the center motif is 1 1/4" deep by 1 1/4" wide. The designs have alternating "bridges" that cross over the chatons, set with clear rhinestones. Weiss used this design in the 1950's and 1960's, so it may be unsigned Weiss. The bracelet has a fold-over clasp and is 7 1/4" long by about 1" wide at the widest. The earrings are 1 1/4" long by 3/4" wide.
The set is in very good vintage condition with some minor discoloration to a few of the bi-color stones and some minor wear to the plating on the back of the necklace.
This is a gorgeous example of late 1950's costume jewelry!
