This 1950’s Corocraft goldtone necklace set with clear rhinestone baguettes in a brickwork pattern, is featured on p. 63 of Fred Rezazadeh’s “Costume Jewelry”. The central motif measures 3 ¾” x ¾”. The goldtone snake chain is 2/16” thick. The necklace adjusts from 15” to 18”. The closure is a “J-hook”. A pear shaped rhinestone dangles from the end of the closure. Marked Corocraft Pat. Pending on a plaque on the back. The patent is D. 170994 granted in I953, so this piece was produced prior to the granting of the patent. The piece is in unworn excellent condition.
