Tortolani was produced from 1950 until 1976. The business was founded in Providence by Franciso Tortolani as Mastercraft Jewelry. After WWII he moved the business to Los Angeles where the jewelry signed Tortalani was made until 1976. This wonderful heavily textured and plated brushed gold tone brooch is in the shape of a flowering plant. There are three large faux large Baroque pearls drops attached. The bottom of the piece finishes in a scroll which look hand wrought. The piece has a wonderful C. 1950’s – 1960’s “Real Look” flavor. This brooch measures 2 ¾” x 2 ¼”, and is in near mint condition with no wear whatever! Signed Tortolani is script on the back.
