Regency Mabé (Faux) Pearl, Deep Green and Peridot AB Necklace

This stunning Regency necklace measures 16" from the characteristic jeweled J-hook to the last adjustable rhinestone. The green large round rhinestones are deep green with a hint of yellow. The closest color on the rhinestone color charts is green tourmaline, but comparing them to an actual gemstone, I would call them dark peridot. The burnished goldtone setting really enhances the colors of the peridot auroras navettes and chatons and makes the pale coffee/taupe colored faux Mabé pearls glisten.

Regency created beautiful jewelry in the late 1950's and early 1960's, and this necklace is a gorgeous example of their work. The necklace is signed Regency Jewels on the "jewelled" J- hook. Excellent condition.
