This goldtone necklace with matching earrings consists of curved 5/8" strips of Mother of Pearl inserted into goldtone mounts alternated by channel set rhinestones. The necklace adjusts to 17", but is worn comfortably as a choker. The center motif is 6" not including the two strips on either side of channel set mounted rhinestones that are 3/4". The earrings are 7/8" wide by about an inch long and follow the shape of the ear.

This demi is a wonderful example of the work done Post WWII by Esha Randel in the pre-WWII German Deco style. I have tried extensively to discover something about this company and have only been able to determine that the company is W. German. I have seen and purchased several other pieces from this maker - one is marked Western Germany. The use of goldtone and the MOP and the type of construction on the chain and detailing make this a perfect example of a very late 1940's or early 1950's jewelry. It is consistent with what other makers were doing at that time. Excellent condition.
