This charming goldtone brooch in the shape of a tie is 3 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. It was probably signed with a metal or paper hang tag that has been removed. The brooch is in excellent condition. Whiting and Davis began making jewelry in 1907, and stopped making mesh jewelry in 1991. It is difficult to date this piece, because it is so classic. Definitely vintage and fabulous!
