This layered 2 1/4 x 2/12" prong and dogtooth mounted brooch with mink colored sparkling stones in a fabulous goldtone setting has all the known characteristics of a Juliana aka D&E brooch! The construction and style and the puddling of the plating in particular point to this piece being a D&E. (Puddling refers to the "figure eights" that are formed by the plating running between two of the cups.")

The design is very similar to a piece made by D&E for Hattie Carnegie. C. 1950's, this charming piece shows almost no wear and is in near mint condition.
