A wonderful C. 1950's prong set and glued brooch and matching earrings with brilliant topaz prong set navettes and high domed cabochons. The brooch might depict laurel or perhaps a bunch of grapes with leaves - you decide. In any case this wonderful set will look fabulous on your jacket or sweaters. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" and the earrings are about 1" x 1/2". There is a small amount of glue on the back of some of the cabs but overall this demi-parure is in excellent condition except as noted. Unsigned but heavily plated and well made. The brooch can be seen in green, in Marcia Brown's "Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry" on p. 137.
