This beautiful classic C. 1950's choker is 16" long. The largest simulated or "faux" pearl is 7.5 mm and the smallest is just 1 mm. The scale is delicate and elegant - typical of the "real look" jewelry of the 1950's. The push-in clasp is set with tiny rhinestones. The pearls are creamy in color and satiny in texture. Lovely! Gorgeous, stunning, beautiful - I've run out of words for this lovely late '50's rhinestone brooch. The stones are much more sparkly than my scan - I'll try to get a photo with my camera. These earrings are simply gorgeous and almost impossible to capture. I have tried scanning, and various digital photos and none of them replicate the sparkle. Each earring is 1 1/4" in each direction. The design is Retro in style and is comprised of three interlocking "fan" shapes each containing three large triangular shaped faceted clear rhinestones. This stunning pair of late '40's - early '50's earrings are prong set with one large (15 x 10 mm ) emerald octagon cut "flawed" emerald rhinestone, in a rhodium plated setting and accented by three rows of pavé set rhinestones. This style of necklace is often referred to as "Prom" jewelry but this one is quite sophisticated. It is asymmetrical in the late '40's early '50's style and is made of prong set silvertone rhinestone "chain" fashioned into a 14" choker with a very secure clasp. The silvertone and rhinestone clasp has a hook that goes over a loop and then "snaps" closed.
