This charming, C. late 1930's or early 1940's brooch in the shape of a flower basket tied with a bow is enameled in a lovely pale pink with mint green accents and tied with a mint green bow. The moonglow (Lucite) stones are accented with enameled mint flowers and leaves. This piece is perfect for Spring or Easter and on into the Summer - or to brighten a winter suit! During WWII, base metals were restricted to wartime use. Costume jewelry was made of Sterling silver, frequently plated with goldtone metal, which was often rose gold in color. During this period, rhinestones which were imported from Europe were in short supply. This is a great little brooch. It is not signed except for the Coro hang tag but it has a lot of characteristics of pieces made by Vendome which was the Coro high end brand in the early 1960's. I believe this pale green moonglow and faceted aurora coated crystal piece with rose monteé accents is mid-1950's just before pieces were marked with the © symbol. In mint unused condition this piece measures 2". Proud Member of the Vintage Fashion Guild.

This wonderful late 1950’s antique goldtone bracelet and matching earrings are set in a coiled rope design sometimes called “Haystack.” Each segment is accented in the center by a large blue aurora coated rhinestone. The bracelet complete with safety chain measures 7” including the fold-over clasp. The bracelet is ¾” wide. The clip-back earrings are 1” in diameter. Signed Coro ©, this set dates to the late 1950’s. Excellent condition.

This early 1950's oval shaped multi-colored pastel brooch has a floral "woodland" design. There are deep rose, aqua, peridot and light amethyst oval shaped rhinestones forming a flower, with a deep pink chaton in the center on one side. The other side features a large deep jonquil (yellow) pear shaped rhinestones, some tiny leaves and a peridot navette. This lovely duette or separable brooch was patented in 1948, and is commonly referred to by collectors as "Apple Blossom." It is design Patent #151364. The furclips can be worn separately or together as a pin. The overall size is 3" by 1 1/2". The flowers have lavender enamel, and green leaves and are set in goldtone metal. This is a very stylish late 1940's goldtone bracelet in the Modernist style. It is made of alternating links of stamped metal. The larger disc is about 5/8" in diameter and has a bright blue sapphire rhinestone in the center. The alternating smaller link is about 1/4" in diameter.
