About Linn's Collection
Our Service Pledge To You:
Vintage jewelry is my passion! I love learning new information about this fascinating subject. The pieces in my shop have been cleaned - if necessary (except for patina on silver), and dead or missing stones or stones with severe foil damage have been replaced with vintage stones, when possible.
Please read the description carefully and email me if you have any questions. I will do my best to respond to purchase orders and questions as soon as possible. I live in Hawaii so please note the time difference to your location.
About Us
I am an interior designer, and a professional member of ASID. My interest in historical periods, fashion, interesting color combinations, good design and quality workmanship brought about my passion for collecting, wearing and then selling vintage costume jewelry. I always strive to learn as much as I can about every piece I handle - especially who made it and when! Any attributions I make are based on my experience and research.
I am a Registered Member of Jewel Collect, an online vintage jewelry group, a member of the Vintage Fashion Guild, The Jewelry_Ring, and VFCJ, a club of Vintage Costume Jewelry collectors and dealers. I have a large (and growing) vintage library, and vintage jewelry collection. I taught interior design at the University of Hawaii for 7 years, and worked as an image consultant for several years in conjunction with my interior design business.
Although I live in Hawaii, I grew up and went to college in the Northeast and am as at "home" in New York City as in Honolulu. I visit "the Mainland" frequently and almost always find new pieces to offer in my shop. In addition to my love of vintage jewelry and fashion, I am an opera and classical music fan. I am on the Board of the Hawaii Opera Theatre, a supporter and season ticket holder of the Honolulu Symphony, a supporter of the Honolulu Academy of Arts, a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in N.Y. and a member of the Art Deco Society of California.
I hope that you will contact me by email if you have any questions about any of the items in my shop.
Aloha,
Linn
