Excellent JPL Limoges Hand-painted Hydrangeas Planter Jardiniere with underplate. Very rare piece of Limoges with a gorgeous rich burgundy color and hand-painted Hydrangeas. Just stunning with heavy gold highlights that make this piece really a knock-out. This planter has the original underplate which is rare to find. Both piece marked JPL Limoges France, the Jean Pouyat Limoges Mark 5 1890-1932. Measures 8" tall by 8" across the opening with a circumference of 24". The underplate measures 9" across. There are no chips, no cracks, no repairs, only gold wear and some water marks on the inside, it's in excellent condition for such a vintage piece.
