The ring is crafted in solid 14K white gold, and is hallmarked as such, along with a maker's mark of a six pointed star within a circle. (As half of the maker's mark is missing, I am working on the assumption that the top of the mark was like the bottom.)
The filigree work is stunning! Clean crisp openwork on the top and bottom with detailing continuing down the top and bottom of the band as well. And, etched shoulder-work to boot!
The ring is bezel set with a vivid orange genuine citrine. The stone is oval-cut, and measures approximately 6.5 mm x 4.5 mm. There is super fine knife-edge detailing surrounding the stone.
The ring is a size 6.25. It measures 0.31" from top to bottom at the very front, with strong band that narrows to 0.03" at the very back.
This piece is in absolutely excellent antique condition. It has been cleaned and is ready to wear.
