Vintage Limoge Quail Platter; Does have Damage! This early 1900's era, Limoges platter from the China Painting era is well decorated and measures 18" x 11". It sadly has a boo-boo on the edge as shown in photo # 4, which is hard to notice when looking head on. In excellent condition it would fetch much more. Vintage Quail Plate. Beautifully executed hand painted and part transfer/decal plate with gold trim. This process engages the hand decorating talents of artisans of the past while giving continuity in the design for the manufacturer. The effect is beautiful.
