1960's Modern Fire King large 3 qt. casserole. This is a very unusual example of Fire King. It looks like it is from the Space 1999 TV show set. Very cool 60's modern style and coloring! White base with geometric ribbed bottom skirt. Brown glass lid. It is hallmarked 1459 Anchor Hocking Fire King Oven Proof Made in U.S.A.

The casserole measures 14 inches handle to handle, and is 8 3/4 inches wide. It measures 6 3/4 inches tall. It is excellent condition! NO chips, cracks! Bright and shinny glass. It is clean inside and out!

This is the first time I have come across a piece such as this. I can not find any similar examples in Gene Florence's Fire King books.
