1941 Fenton French Opalescent Hobnail flared vase. This vase is shown in the 1941 Fenton catalog. This cone style vase has many incarnations, crimped, cupped, double crimped, all of which are seen often. This shape is unusual in it's simplicity. This is the first time I have seen this particular shape in person.

The vase stands just under 6 inches tall. The mouth measures just under 4 inches wide. The base has a 2 7/8 inch diameter. It is in excellent original condition! No chips, cracks, dings, or flea bites. One of the hobnail studs has a flaw, a glass bubble that didn't fill in all the way. No damaged.

I tried to show the vase with flash and in natural light. Very nice opalescent effect!
