This is a real conversation piece and would look stunning displayed on a coffee table, in a cabinet or even on the wall. It is a round platter or "chop plate" that measures nearly 12 1/2 inches across, and the sides rise up 1 1/2 inches from the table (probably to hold juices in the platter).

The sides are also lightly scalloped and the edges are touched with gold, which sets off the beautiful pattern of pink/purple flowers and green leaves. No chips, cracks or repairs on this lovely item, which dates back 100 years to 1900-1914. This is a hard one to let go of, it's so pretty to look at!
