Henri Creanges/Old Abbey Seven Piece Place Setting (Three Available)

We are fortunate to have three complete place settings from this lovely set. The marks show that the blanks were created by Henri Creanges between 1907 and 1914 and later decorated by J. Granger between 1922 and 1938. This combination of marks is somewhat unusual and one doesn't often see the Creanges mark anywhere. (See the Collectors Encyclopedia of Limoges for more details.)

The lovely transfer decoration includes pink roses, green leaves and blue flowers - perfect for a spring luncheon or afternoon tea.

Each even piece set includes:

- Dinner plate - Salad/dessert plate - Berry bowl - Soup bowl - Bread and butter plate - Cup and saucer (with gold accents on handles)

Condition is very good and the dishes appear to have barely been used over the years. No chips or cracks, minor utensil marks and glaze pops on some pieces do not distract from their usability or beauty.
