The Charles Ahrenfeldt company manufactured and decorated these fabulous plates for Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia (marks shown in photo) between 1894 and the 1930s. In those days, many Limoges companies established relationships with department and jewelry stores in the United States to provide exclusive lines of china to their customers.

This particular set is especially beautiful, transfer decorated with pink and yellow roses, green leaves and blue accent flowers, and then lavishly gilt. There even a line of gold around the rim under the plate. Such attention to detail is rare. See the photos for what mere words can't describe.

There is very little gold wear as each plate is in remarkable condition, free of chips or cracks. These plates, measuring 8.5" across, would display beautifully on a wall or in your collector's cabinet. The possibilities are endless for such gorgeous specimens.
