Gravy boat by Charles Field Haviland/GDM (Limoges, France)

This very pretty gravy boat and underplate (which is not attached) date to before the turn of the 20th century, as the marks show them to have been manufactured in France between 1891 and 1900.
No chips or cracks, just some minor wear to the gold. There is a tiny glaze pop on the boat itself that doesn't really show, but should be mentioned.
The raised foot of the boat fits snugly into the outline of the underplate, as shown in the photos.
While you might not actually use this for gravy, these dishes make nice pot pourri containers, candy dishes, and can be used for just about anything - or just display it in your cabinet!
