Pretty little oval shaped bowl with cover, by C. Ahrenfeldt. Pink flowers and green leaves adorn the lid and bowl, even on the inside. The handles are painted with gold, which is in great condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 9 inches by 6 inches on the inside of the bowl.

What an adorable piece - decorated with pink and green flowers that appear to be chrysanthemums. In beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or other problems. Note the gold decoration on the handle, that's very nice work that was applied by hand. The floral pattern is also repeated on the inside. The bowl itself measures 4 x 6 inches across, and the underplate is 8 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches. It stands about 3 inches high, not including the lid.

There are two trays available, each measuring 7 x 11 inches in size, and both in spectacular condition. The gold shines like new and the glaze sparkles, free of use marks. They appear to have been only used for display over the years. We estimate their age to be approximately 70 years old or more, based on the marks.

This platter, from Theodore Haviland, was manufactured and decorated in Limoges, France, in the early part of the 20th century. It demonstrates an unusual restraint in its decoration, with simple gold lines on the handles and green floral transfers. Dare one say it's almost a masculine piece of Limoges? Measuring 11 x 16 inches, it's quite a large and heavy platter, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

This very special dish was manufactured and decorated by Tressemann & Vogt in Limoges, France, circa 1907. Apparently it was designed for a retailer with branches in Toronto and Winnipeg, Canada. It bears a very colorful transfer decoration of pink roses linked with a beautiful green vine. The gold that accents the handles and the rim is intact with little to no wear. Square plates - what an unusual find! These plates are quite old, dating to sometime between 1882 and 1900. These fellows have had quite a life, surviving over 100 years with no chips or damage, although most of their gold is nearly worn away. But they still retain quite a bit of character, with the square shape alone making them quite unique. They each measure 7 1/2 inches across. There are two available; price shown is for each plate.

The Charles Field Haviland Company has a long and distinguished history of manufacturing and decorating porcelain in Limoges, France, even after C.F. In the mid-20th century, Theodore Haviland & Co. produced some very colorful patterns, and "Persia" is certainly a great example of these. This charming cup and saucer set is lavishly accented with bands of thick gold and decorated with wreaths and flowers. It makes a powerful statement when displayed and is in great condition - no chips or cracks, and the gold remains nearly all of its original luster. The marks date this set to the period between 1894 and the 1930s. Charles Ahrenfeldt manufactured and decorated this cup and saucer for C. Reizenstein (Pittsburgh-Allegheny), presumably a department store in Western Pennsylvania.

Pictures do not do justice to this lovely piece. Hand-applied accents add a three dimensional effect to the applied decor of pink flowers. The wavy edges are heavily gilded with some minor wear that really doesn't detract from the overall beauty. Measures a full 10 inches in length and about 5 inches across. Should be seen to be believed!

A colorful design of flowers decorates this lovely 6" plate from Jean Pouyat, made in Limoges, France. Sponged gold accents the lightly scalloped edge while a ring of gold encircles the plate among the flowers. This adorable piece dates to 1900-1906 and bears no marks of wear or use, nor chips nor cracks. It is in excellent condition and would make a lovely accent piece displayed on a wall or cabinet.

This adorable little bowl looks kind of like a squashed pumpkin, with its squat shape and beautifully molded exterior. The pattern, named "Plaza" (and so marked on the bottom" is one of little birds and baskets of roses all around the edge of the bowl and the lid. The handles are richly decorated with gold. There are no chips, cracks or other problems with this lovely piece. The opening measures 6.5" across, 9" from handle to handle.

This lovely, 9.5" Haviland & Company blank has been handpainted with beautiful purple and green floral decoration. The mark (shown in the last photo) dates the piece to 1888-1896. During that period it was a popular pastime for fashionable ladies and other would-be artists to paint whitewares from Limoges in their spare hours. A lovely find - a dinner-sized display plate from Charles Ahrenfeldt. Additional marks on the back show this piece to have been sold through the Jaccard jewelry store in Kansas City, Kansas. The third mark reads, "Grand Prix, St. Louis, 1904." Perhaps this was a commemorative plate of some kind, or the pattern won an award at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Who knows - but it does look pretty!

This lovely bowl was manufactured by William Guerin in Limoges, France, and was decorated by hand with yellow roses. The quality of the painting is excellent, with the flowers and leaves delicately textured and rendered in perfect detail. This is clearly not an amateur piece, although it doesn't appear to be signed. Measuring 7 inches in diameter, the bowl is rimmed with gold on the edge and around the bottom. The gold is not worn at all, retaining all of its original luster.
