This is an outstanding silver Chinese export piece! The Chinese characters join together and say: "Fortune & Longevity" hence making this a wonderful gift for someone you care about. It has a ring matted surface with vine and scroll decoration throughout. It is marked LW which is Luen Wo-Shanghai. Possibly used with a women's belt for fabric garments. China c. 1890. It measures 3 3/4" long x 2 3/4"high.
