Oriental Malachite Horse Soldier Sculpture

This is an exquisitely carved Malachite sculpture of an Oriental warrior on his horse. He is riding into battle wielding his sword and reining in his horse. This stone has beautiful varying shades of green veining throughout. There is a nicely done minor repair where the blade of the sword has been reattached. It is hardly visible to the naked eye. The sculpture is mounted on a carved wooden base and measures 5" long and 5" high and 2" deep with the base included.
