The label on the box reads: Pflueger Sal-Trout Fishing Reel, Single Action, Gun Metal, Fully Guaranteed, No. 1554, Pat. No. 1,699,914. The Patten number indicates the reel was made in 1929. The reel has a black gun metal finish with some wear. The piece appears to be in excellent working condition. It is 3 5/8 in. in diameter. The reel has some old line still on it. The box is in good vintage condition with some staining.
