New England Pineapple was manufactured by the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, and the New England Glass Company, Cambridge; c. 1850-1870. The pitchers are 6 ¾ in. tall x 3 ½ in. wide. They are very heavy glass. They have 3 mold marks, flint bell-tone ring, straw marks, a few bubbles, Great vintage condition. Both have a very old, hard to see, crack at the base of the handles where they are applied to the pitcher. They may have been this way for over a100 years, and probably since the handles were applied. One has a small amber tint inside the glass of the handle where it is applied. These pieces are from my antique dealer mom’s collection. The price is for each pitcher.
