Sunny Jim was an early breakfast cereal produced by the Force Food Company of Buffalo and New York City. The trade mark was registered January 24, 1905 (U.S. Pat. No. 44,025). The back of the silver plated spoon is marked “N.F. Silver Co. 1877 (star). The bowl features Sunny Jim with a box labeled “Force.” The silver plate on both sides of the handle is in excellent condition, while the bowl shows considerable wear front and back from 100 years of use. It is 6 in. long. This is a wonderful collector’s item.
