SOLD Large Staffordshire Sheep Spill Vases Kent Pottery , No. A 108
This mid-19th century vase was produced by Kent Pottery in Staffordshire, England. We have a pair of these, and have listed them separately because the trade marks are slightly different, as shown in the photograph. This one is marked “Staffordshire Ware, England, , A 108” with W and K inside the rope mark. The sheep stands in front of a tree stump, which serves as the vase. The sheep has confetti fur. There are no chips, cracks. There is expected, light crazing. It measures 4-in. long x 2 ¾-in. deep x 5-in. tall.
