The width of the band at the widest is 1/2 of an inch. The prong set oval opal measures 7mm by 9mm. There are no metal marks on the band but it tested as Sterling; The opal appears to be a solid opal not a doublet. The opal is mounted with a closed back. The band is decorated with an elaborate scroll design depicting a flower with the opal in the center..
The ring is size 8 1/2. The ring is in excellent vintage condition.The ring appears to be from the 1960s-1970s.
