Boulder Opal and Pearl Necklace.

I love the boulder opal used in this necklace. Boulder opal is opal im-bedded in a rock material. This opal to me shows a great view of the mountains, ocean and rocks. There is even a stripe of color that is the sand that separates the rocks and the ocean.

The boulder opal is strung with extra large shell heishi and multicolor fresh water cultured pearls. I like to think that the colors of the pearls compliment the colors in the opal. Note: The pearls are dyed. This necklace is approximately 19 1/2 inches in length. There is also a 2 inch extender chain. The findings are all Sterling Silver. The necklace is strung on metallic Soft Flex.
